Hello and Welcome to the Maincolour Website

The Maincolour management recognises their responsibility for the health and safety of all staff, customers and the local community. They are committed to educating and increasing awareness of internal and external health and safety issues, and reducing the instances of accidents.

Our policy is to:

  • Promote safe working practices throughout the business. This also extends to our suppliers and customers.
  • Ensure our working environment is as free from risk as possible and that every member of staff has suitable safety wear to conduct their duties.
  • Ensure first aid and emergency provisions are in place to react to any health and safety issue.
  • Record incidents and accidents. We will also investigate fully any such event and improve
    our systems to ensure they do not occur again.
  • Operate our business in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all applicable regulations made under that act, so far as is reasonably practicable.
  • Ensure our plant and machinery is maintained to the highest standards.
  • Empower our staff to act responsibly and do everything they can to prevent injury to themselves and fellow co-workers.
  • Promote safe and economical driving for all delivery staff.
  • Update our Health and Safety Policy annually in consultation with staff, associates and customers.
